Fat Frogs Racing exists for the purpose of promoting the sport of cycling, primarily through racing, under the United States Cycling Federation. The team has a focus on development with membership open to anyone wanting to try bike racing of any type or style at any level.

The team strives to invest its resources in those activities that discover, develop, and improve new racers of all ages, male and female. Individually, team members focus on activities that help each other improve and become stronger, smarter, and more complete cyclist.

Collectively the team seeks to place as high as possible in the Virginia BAR racing series, all the while remembering to HAVE FUN.

Sunday June 2, 2013
Presented by Fat Frogs Racing
Held under USAC Permit 2013-1261

Race Rules: Just as in the hit movie, "Breaking Away", this is a relay race. There is a starter for each team at the start of the race. During the race each team-member must take a turn around the course with 10 laps minimum, the laps do not need to be consecutive. There must be 8 changes for each team during the race to qualify for the finish. The first "qualifying" team that has a racer across the finish line after completing the laps for that race wins.

Each team will have a pit area where they switch riders; riders will have their own bicycle in this race, not like the movie. Riders will pass off an armband (or the like) for a legal change of rider.  Each team will be assigned four matching numbers and each racer will wear a number for their team.

Registration on BikeReg.com only.  No same day registration, no mail-in registration.

For full information, see the race flier.
